The Good Story

In early 2023 Mal and Dash Schultz embarked on a mission that God had placed on there hearts. The word from God was clear, "feed the community of Donald and surrounds." Out of this instruction came The Good Feed with a mission to feed the community both spiritually and practically. Along with the support of God, volunteers and the community they all embarked on a journey to feed the people Donald community.

On the first night of The Good Feed, Mal did not know how many would come, if any. During prayer she knew if only 1 person came in it truly was Gods Mission. That night 2 people arrived for the meal and she was greatly disappointed. Mal had to check herself and ask for forgiveness as God had encouraged 2 people to come in. Shortly after realising her selfishness and seeking forgiveness, 17 people were seated to enjoy a meal. Since then The Good Feed has slowly grown. Just over a year later we are now supplying between 80 - 100 meals on a Monday evening. All those involved in The Good Feed acknowledge that it is only through Gods love and support that HIs mission continues.

With prayer God has shown his hand in all aspects of The Good Feed. God has encouraged and provided beautiful volunteers who selflessly give there Monday evenings to the  members of the board who give there time to ensure that Gods mission continues today.  Throughout the journey He has shown HIs hand continually through miracles, whether it be through an amount of money needed coming at just the right time to food items desperately needed coming through the door. God continues to show us his love and support for us and the community. Our prayer for all who attend is that they will find the absolute love of Jesus and the promise that comes with loving Him.
